Mental Health Assignment.

You will create a brochure which deals with a specific mental health issue/condition. The brochures should focus on one big idea that you feel everyone should know and remember about the particular mental health condition that you have chosen to research for this assignment. In your brochure you may want to consider details relating to:

  • mental illnesses and changes in the brain
  • risk factors for mental illnesses
  • symptoms
  • effective treatments for mental illness
  • coping strategies
  • links to further information

Basically your brochure will contain 3 types of information.

  • enduring understandings.” These are the fundamental, critical understandings of the topic.
  • ideas that are “important to know and do.”
  • ideas that are “worth being familiar with,” though not the most important ones to remember.
