Check out our Community
Partners page to find out what some of our SC alumni are up
to!
South Carleton High School opened its doors in 1952. Since then,
thousands of students have wandered these halls, learning and growing
and eventually leaving to pursue other endeavours. Many South Carleton
grads have remained in the area, and their children and grandchildren
have taken their turn as students in this great school. An astonishing
number of South Carleton staff are also South Carleton alumni!
South Carleton is a vibrant, bustling place, with activities going
on all the time. Why not spend an evening listening to one of our
terrific Concert Bands, or check out the school musical? Cheer on
the South Carleton Storm on the football field or watch students
strut their stuff at the Fashion Show. Relive your own glory days
while encouraging the many talented, hard-working students currently
attending South!
Many members of the community volunteer precious hours supporting
our students, whether it be coaching a sports team, tending the
gardens at the front of the school, or shelving books in the library.
We truly appreciate all that they do to make our school a better
place. If you would like to offer your services, please speak to
Trudy Garland, Principal.
If sharing your time and talents isn't for you, monetary donations
are also welcome (tax receipts available on request for amounts
over $10). South Carleton offers many scholarships and bursaries
to graduating students - perhaps you would like to contribute to
one of these. Maybe you would like to help purchase new mats for
the wrestling team, or toys for the Playgroup. The opportunities
for you to give back to South Carleton are limitless!
We are planning wonderful things for our Alumni webpage. Check
back often to see what's been added.
